(5) Fairfield County Schools Receive the Momentum Award

The State Board of Education of Ohio recently recognized 54 districts and 169 schools and presented them with the Momentum Award.

Any Ohio school or district is eligible for the Momentum Award if it receives straight A’s on all Value-Added measures on the report card. The school or district must have at least two Value-Added subgroups of students, which include gifted, lowest 20 percent in achievement and students with disabilities. The award is given to a school for exceeding expectations in student growth for the year.

Five (5) Fairfield County Schools received this award:

Amanda Clearcreek Elementary

Diley Middle School

Fairfield Union Rushville Middle School

Toll Gate Elementary School

Toll Gate Middle School
